Luhta’s fashion chains develop favorably – strong international growth continues

Luhta Group’s sales grew in all export markets in 2016. The strongest sales growth was achieved in Germany. Concept development of the retail chains generated results in Finland, and the positive feedback provided by consumers drove the continued focus on that development. Sales in our retail stores in Finland increased by 6%.

Luhta Group’s net sales were EUR 246.7 million in 2016. Growth on the previous year was 2.15%. Earnings for the financial period were EUR 12.6 million. The Group employed an average of 1,678 people during the financial period. The Group’s main markets are Finland, Germany, France, Russia and Holland. The Group’s most recognized brands are Luhta, Rukka, Icepeak, Torstai, Li-Ning, Ril’s and Your FACE. Additionally, the Group includes the fashion-focused comprehensive clothing retail chain Aleksi 13, the casual sportswear-inspired chain Luhta Brand Store, the Your FACE and Ril’s stores offering women’s fashions, the TopSport chain of sportswear, and the Luhta Outlet stores offering consumers previous-season collections and special items at low price points.
